Meet Our Librarian

Claudia Guilford

Librarian

I have a background working in public schools as an administrative assistant. I was thrilled to be offered the job as the new Roslyn Librarian!  It has been very rewarding to reopen the new library space after the 2022 remodel.  I have enjoyed building and implementing many new library programs and making so many connections with our community.  We have become the space where people can come to gather and enjoy creative activities in a comfortable, welcoming environment.

In addition to reading, I love to hike, garden, knit and spend time with my family.

Jane Culliton

Library Assistant

The first library I fell in love with was the Tiny Golden Library when I was a kid. It had 36 books, and my favorite story was “Cowboy Kitten”. Later, I lost track of many hours at the Evergreen State College Library, and then the Allen Library at the UW where I indulged in poetry for two lovely years. On a recent trip, I discovered a new favorite: the National Poetry Library in London!

I am thrilled now to work at the Roslyn Library with Claudia. She has built an amazing environment for all of us, and there are so many dedicated volunteers who’ve made this a very special place.

If I’m not in the library, there’s a good chance Maddy and I are out hiking, breathing the crisp mountain air and feeling incredibly blessed.
