Meet the Librarian
I have lived in Roslyn for 15 years and Upper Kittitas County for 21 years. Before becoming the Roslyn Librarian, I was the Administrative Assistant at Easton School District for 9 years.
Before moving here, I lived in Sammamish for 25 years, and I worked in the office at Inglewood Jr. High for 10 years. I have three grown children and 7 grandkids.
I love to read, hike, knit, garden, and spend time with my family. The library is my happy place!
Meet the Assistant Librarian
We are pleased to welcome Elena Larkin as our new part-time library assistant. Elena has worked in several independent bookstores as well as been a librarian in a private school for kindergarten through eighth grade. She has extensive experience working with kids through Montessori and traditional teaching. Elena is an avid reader and is especially fond of children’s picture books. She is a great resource for book recommendations. When she is not here at the Roslyn Library, you can find her working at Basecamp Books and Bites.
