Come join the fun of Summer Reading! Thursday at 11:00am, we will have story time and a fun craft project for the kids! This week’s theme is “Dinosaurs”. Kids are encouraged to take a reading log to record books they read during the Summer Reading program, or have had read to them.

New art in the library! Come see Michael Stone’s unique digital at the library. Michael says of his work: “ I use my digital camera and photoshop to create my view of the world as I see it. Some images are made with digital collages and some with digital paint or both together.”

Come in and gets some seeds from your neighbors’ gardens, and share some of your own if you have some! We have screens to separate out the seeds and envelopes too. We’ve got lots of acorn squash, beets, peas, and beans, even some wildflower seeds.

There is no app to replace your lap! We’ve got a wonderful selection of kids books…from easy board books to beautifully illustrated books to spark your child’s imagination. Come explore!

Dreaming of your next trip and need some ideas? We just got several new travel books from 50 Places to Travel Solo to a World Travel book that lists every country. And if you just want to stick around this summer, how about checking out the Complete Hiking Guide to the Alpine Lakes Wilderness?! A great resource written by two local brothers.

We’ve started a new Jigsaw Puzzle Exchange! Bring one, take one, or just take one and bring it back. ; ) We’re going to test out the interest in it and will expand the collection as needed! Let us know the kind of puzzles you like…easy peasy or stay-up-all-night to finish the thousand piece blue sky kind?!!
