Roslyn Public Library Donations Policy 

We welcome your donations of books and DVDs with the following guidelines:  

What we will take: 

• Clean books and DVDs in good condition with no odor

What we will NOT accept: 

• VHS tapes 

• Textbooks 

• Reference books like encyclopedias and dictionaries 

• Dirty, yellowed or stained materials 

• Items with any odor like pets or smoke 

• Damaged items 

Please make arrangements with the librarian if you have more than one box of donations.  Donations need to be made during open hours.  Please do not leave donations outside.  You can reach the library at 509-260-1069 if you have questions. 

Donations that are not added to our collections will be given to the Friends of the Roslyn Library for their annual book sale.  All proceeds from this sale go directly to the library for the purchase of materials, funding programs, or other library services.
